Working for a church has done more to damage my faith than anything else I have ever experienced.

Is it from closely studying the faith or from observing fellow churchgoers? Or another reason?

That's understandable. I left the church years ago because it dawned on me that the worst thing about Christianity is some of the people who profess to believe in it.
