I got comments like "when is the next update???" a lot even when I updated on a regular schedule, but now that I'm months behind on my fics they've gotten kind of rude. But it doesn't matter, those comments just make me feel GUILTY now, because not only do I not have time to write... I have no inspiration at all. I got a lot of fans because I was going through a period full of inspiration, and when it dried up I now have all this guilt because I can't give those fans anything :(

I was getting really rude comments about updating a fic that I'd put on hiatus because I'd lost inspiration to write after my brother died. I'd put in an author's note and edited the summary to reflect that. Still got a bunch of "omg when are you going to update?" questions.
