This show seems to be really popular, so I gave it a go. I just...the voice acting is so bad, and the anime clichés, those anime clichés! Is...is that one guy supposed to sound like the eagle guy from the Muppets?

it's rooster teeth right?? if the actors are the same as in red vs blue then i dunno, they were good in that, although maybe you wouldn't think so, rvb is kind of hit or miss

i'm not really interested in rwby

They all sounded like they were reading a script to me. If you ever watched Bonus Stage back in the day, they're not as cringe-worthy as Kagome was, but close. It just really takes me out of any story it may have.

I have no idea what that is but I'll take your word for it and pass on rwby. I don't really like the gifsets I've seen anyway.

I was able to ignore the bad parts until the second episode when the main girl went ultra chibi and sorta fluttered around at everyone (to look at weapons or something?). At that point I got that feeling that I get when I watch crap people make to cash in on the anime craze and stopped.

I have mad respect for RT but I dunno, Rwby just seems meh.

Some kid on my fb feed keeps reccing it, but nothing about it really strikes my fancy.

I tried to like it. I really did.

But it's just awful. Like you said, the voice acting is terrible and those anime cliches. It doesn't even have comedic value to make up for it, because the delivery of any jokes is terrible too. I haven't so much as smirked through 8 episodes.

It's really disappointing because the trailers actually made it look really interesting.
