It's not so much that I'm against writing AU as I wish I could fit it into the original. My canon-nazi-ness doesn't have anything against creating -new- fanon, I just... can't actively CONTRADICT anything in canon XD;

Wow, that's quite a dilemma D: Admittedly, I prefer pairing fics that take place in certain gaps in canon that are open for our own interpretations, but don't contradict canon, too. As someone stated above me, though, episode 26 is a great opportunity to write some KittanYoko, because they're actually in the middle of getting married in Yoko's crazy fantasy AU thing. So you could possibly write a canonAUparadox fic of all the stuff that happens in her fantasy before the marriage or something. Just a suggestion XD

Well, thanks for the ideas! I guess I could... it sort of does feel like a cop-out, though, you know? Still, it might be the only way... Appreciate your suggestions :)
