Secret 9 - Dragon Ball Z

Not secret: I've never seen an episode of Dragonball Z in my life.

A few years ago, there was a student in the classrom I wored in, and he was a big Dragonball Z fan. He would play with the physical therapy exercise balls like they were spirit bombs (okay, it was catch, but whatever), and he would often ask me to play. Sometimes I would, but most of the time I would be busy, or just not in the mood.

It's been about a year since he died, very unexpectedly. I don't know if words have been invented to describe the regret I feel for saying "not right now" or "maybe later," knowing what I do know...

All I know is that if I ever get around to watching Dragonball Z, I'm probably going to cry like a baby the first time they make a spirit bomb.

Bonus secret: From the Dragonball Z Wiki: "To use the Spirit Bomb, one must have a pure heart --" god dammit here come the tears.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Not so long ago one of my younger family members killed himself. He was hugely into gaming and I kind of left him to it- I'm not a gamer and I can't tell you how much I wish I'd got involved in his later groups. I hope in time you will be able to watch DBZ and remember some of the good things about your friend through that. x
