I once stranded her in my town for two days out of spite because she spawned THREE DAYS IN A ROW in my town. I also laugh when she gets sad because I tell her no. I'M A MONSTER.

I needed a break, so I disappeared from fandom for a month.

None of my fandom friends noticed I was gone. No emails, no PMs, no "hey, has anyone seen [anon] lately?" in our group Skype chat.

I feel stupid for caring about them all so much, when they didn't care abuot me. At least now I know my online friendships are meaningless, and I can try to carry on with my life outside the Internet.

This movie scared me so badly when I was little. I still can't bring myself to watch it over twenty years later.

I love both of these shows. But it genuinely bothers me that It's Always Sunny gets praised for having such despicable, selfish, and lazy characters... yet Arrested Development was always critisized for being "unrelateable" because it revolves around despicable, selfish, and lazy characters. (And that's supposedly one reason it was originally cancelled).

They're both great shows, dammit!!

FluffyMixer is the owner of the tumblr ask blogs "Ask Fluffle Puff" and "Dan Vs FiM".

It has only been a week and I am already sick of the fandom. I hate the fandoms that have gravitated from Supernatural to Hannibal to Sleepy Hollow.

I wonder how long before they start posting pictures of people with flower crowns.

I wrote a series of very obvious trollfics two years ago. It was fun to get the crazy comments. I let the truth (but not my identity) out at the end. All was well.

Why the hell am I still getting comments and favorites now?

Secret: This makes me really seriously worry for the state of fandom. I can't shake this fear with anyone else without revealing I wrote this crap.

I like Supernatural. I like Doctor Who. I like Sherlock. I adore crossovers. So I don't get why everyone looks at SuperWhoLock like it's a bad thing. Yeah, once you get into SuperWhoAvengePotterLock and the like you've gone too far, but just these three... I don't get the hate and it makes me feel guilty for liking it.

Secret because: SuperWhoLock is clearly of the devil.

Of all the pointless things people have formed a fandom around... Youtube Let's Players/"celebrities" is the one I understand the least.

I know this show has been over for years, but I'm still sad about the lack of fanfiction. I had hoped that its growing reputation over the years would maybe attract more fans at some point and get a bigger fandom going, but nothing. There are barely any fics, and the few fics that do exist are often short and almost all gen (I like gen, but there are also a lot of shippable people on this show and no fic about these pairings.) It's so frustrating.

In before "write it yourself": Even if I do that, I'd still like to read fics written by other people. And no way a kinkmeme or a new LiveJournal community would attract many writers for a show that's several years old and has almost no fandom.
