Say you were magically transported to the settings of one of your fandoms. Like you woke up in Middle-Earth or a space station. Maybe you would want to blend in with other people or choose something you could run in. What in your closet would you wear, what fandom, and why?

My day clothes, because I'd still blend in, I think.

Might need a hat, though.

For Pokemon, I would have to dig around because I know I have a box full of hats somewhere. I'd probably wear my cat in the hat hat, or my JESTER hat, or maybe even my official Ash Ketchum hat, but probably not. Unfortunately I don't rock hats as well as I did pre-puberty, hence them all being in a box somewhere.

Probably leggings with boots, and my white skort that I use for my Roxy Lalonde cosplay. And a t-shirt over a long sleeve shirt. And most definitely my ridiculous feather earrings, and I'd probably need a watch, and a bag. I have a messenger bag I could use. And a scarf? I have this gray plaid one that might be good.

If I still had long hair, I'd tie it in pigtails.

Inspired by nursejoy's comment above - I'd absolutely wear my my zebra hat in the Pokemon universe. And probably be mistaken for a renegade/confused Team Magma member or something but hey. Plus tights-and-shorts combo, a shirt and boots. Practical things!

That said, I like practical clothing but if I was a Disney princess I'd leap at the chance to wear the snazziest dress possible. Or something with a cape.

For any of my fandoms I would want to be in my zombie outfit. Because either it will be an interesting conversation starter or it will be good enough to make people leave me alone.

I'm a cosplayer. Practically any setting I could be transported to, I have something that would fit in, although they might think I was trying to impersonate someone famous if I wore the wigs and so on too.
