I refuse to give rape any power over me by treating it as some sort of special thing when no one can speak of. Rape is not Lord Voldemort (although just imagine Voldemort trying to rape Harry, and keep being interrupted by Snape who has this thing that He Who Must Not Be Named, really has to see right now, its a classic Marx Bro. Stateroom deal). Rape can be talked about and raped can be joked about, because rape will not have power over my life nor anyoneelse's as something elevated to hallowed status through being only serious or whispered about.
