That video is the best thing.

It's a great fucking pop song. A fantastic pop song. I mean, sure, anything that's overplayed becomes annoying, but you have to be willing to look past it.

And anyone who doesn't like it because it's a pop song, I have no agreement with at all.

I will, however, except any and all shame for "Dirty Little Secret" by All-American rejects(?). Even as I am cranking the volume and drumming on the steering wheel to that one I am thinking, "God, this is a terrible song." And yet I still turn it up and bob my head like I'm trying to impress a lady pigeon.

I fucking love Dragostea Din Tei. ...I might have the entire DiscO-zone album. (If you like Dragostea, you'll probably really like Despre Tine, Sarbatoarea, and De Ce Plang Chitarele, they're similarly energetic. There's also some really neat others with quite different sounds, like Nu Ma Las De Limba Noastra, which is about Moldova keeping ties with the Romanian language - the title means 'I will not give up our language'.)

I'd never heard anyone else talking about O-Zone outside of Dragostea Din Tei. I unironically love that song and it got me into the band too. I found their slower songs pretty heartfelt, like M-as Trezi and and Oriunde Ai Fi.

Ooh, I haven't heard M-as Trezi - I pretty much know DiscO-Zone and that's it, heh. But Oriunde Ai Fi is pretty!
