Re: what content didn't stay in your stomach?

I had an awful case of bronchitis last week that evolved into pneumonia. I had a fever so high I was convinced I had been poisoned somehow.

I threw up every time I tried to get something inside my stomach, including water. The worst was the first time, though. I had had a couple of cups of coffee (don't judge me. I don't function without caffeine, I honestly thought it would help, and I wasn't sound of mind) and when I kneeled in front of the porcelain god, I thought I would never stop vomiting liters and liters of coffee and bile.

Shit got really bad. Most miserable night ever, I was alone at home and had a sharp reminder of how much it sucks when there's nobody to even bring you a cup of water while you're shivering in pain and that awful mixture of hotness and coldness. The next day I had to go to the ER so they could re-hydrate me via IV.
