I get that, anon. But then again, a TV episode is a little under half the length of a typical movie and one movie is all it takes for people to get invested. And then there's the fact that Tumblr is notorious for exaggeration. And it's always possible for people to get psyched over the possibilities the show might entail. And it's totally seasonally appropriate to get psyched about a show with spooky vibes (Halloween is just around the corner). In addition to that, while I haven't been making gifsets or adorning the headless with flower crowns, I thought that the pilot was amusing and cute and I'm looking forward to seeing more. Oh, and both the leads are attractive, charming people, so that also helps.
