Same here. I know it makes me weird in fandom, but whatever... I find it creepy. Annie is an incredibly immature YOUNG girl - intelligent, but ultimately naive. Jeff is far older, worldly, and skeevy. Britta and him are far better together... able to keep up with each other, Britta able and willing to call him on his shit. Annie just worships him and idolizes him and has a silly schoolgirl crush on an older almost-father figure. The fact that Jeff encourages this CREEPS ME THE FUCK OUT.

But I also know a lot of older men who desperately want young barely-legal innocent young girls so I know firsthand that this is fucking skeevy and gross. I can't even get over that long enough to ship fictional characters.

I think I would've liked it better had they actually not played it as skeevy, and if they'd waited a few seasons when Annie was a little less naive and Jeff a bit less skeevy. Instead they jumped right to it in the first season finale, and in the second season the hints to it were very skeevy and twisted. "Santa Baby" anyone?
