You know very little about OP and their level of contact with the religion at the time at which they felt called to it - only that they currently identify as atheist. But whatevs, you can keep right on belittling them if that's what it takes to make yourself feel big.

Agnostic polytheist is not an identifier. It's a position I have with regard to theism.
'Gods are interesting' is not why I hold that position. The reason I hold that position is that while I know the gods are there, I don't know if their presence as I've experienced it equates to existence. I cannot make an absolute claim about that, and don't want to pretend to. 'Gods are interesting' is the reason why I engage with the topic in the first place.
The only identifier I ever use much is 'pagan'.

It's amusing to me how many neopagans get their boxers in a twist over ideas originally expressed by people in polytheistic cultures of antiquity.
