I'm over 30 and I flat out know my teenage years were part of my childhood. Here's the kicker, though... childhood has different stages. I was still a child, just an older one than I was before and at a different developmental stage. Same as being a baby/toddler and being 8 years old are at far different stages too, but it's still "childhood". That's not something to get angry over or ashamed of when some one points out that it's still part of childhood. It's fine, because it's true.

You and I have different ideas of childhood. Childhood ends with puberty. Teenage years are another stage of development, not childhood.
