Who says all who identify as Wiccan don't believe in dual god/goddess? Or recognize the holidays? You seem to presume a lot from nothing. I think my metaphor was pretty clear - you deny people the opportunity to find their own way using religion as a template, and frankly, not belonging to a coven is a very, very small change compared to the average Christian, who I imagine you also think "shouldn't bother, how dare they even call themselves that." You are demanding that people take everything in a religion or nothing, which is a bigger issue than just Wicca, and there is something pretty messed up in your way of thinking.

And yes, there is a huge fucking difference between a model wearing a feather headdress, and eclectic Wiccans being Wiccan. I can't believe you'd even stoop to that comparison, because it's so fucking ridiculous and I don't even know how your mind went that way. Except that maybe you want to pretend you're persecuted. And of course, special.

And you're equating Jesus dying for the sins of humanity to... what Wiccan equivalent? Belonging to a coven? I agree that you're not automatically a Wiccan because you think God is a chick and want to do magic spells. But Wicca doesn't have as much canon as you claim it does, and certainly not in relation to Christianity. What's more is it's such a new religion that there's going to be evolution and disagreement and differing interpretations. You can't even claim tradition and history as an excuse.

Point being, there are a lot of people out there who identify as Wiccan, and might not believe the same thing as you - and their faith is NO less valid than yours. Frankly, you can keep the "holier than thou" attitude, it's not going to stop Wicca from being something you don't like.
