Michael Sheen is a total bamf is my favorite werewolf to date (that I can remember atm), besides maybe one other.

He's tied with Oz from Buffy for me. Not usually much into werewolves , but those two are awesome.

I'm not really sure what's going on or what we're talking about but Michael Sheen is a great ator

And a great actor, even

Michael Sheen is one of those actors that I'll watch anything he's in because you never know what you are going to get. He's a perfect chameleon. He can play the sincere, starched shirt Tony Blair in one movie and an over the top David Bowie inspired game sprite in the next.

While I disagree that that was the best of the series, I do agree that Michael doesn't get nearly enough credit.

While it's not my favorite of the series, I did enjoy it and it's an awesome showcase for him.

The best shit is still shit.

Is this an unpopular opinion? Well, OP, I completely agree. Then again, I dislike Kate Beckensale, so she kind of ruins the others for me even though I enjoy the first two in spite of her. The third one was definitely the best, though.

It was better than the previous film and that's not saying much. I only really enjoyed that series when Michael Sheen or Bill Nighy were on screen because they're the only characters that held my attention.

Wait, is this a secret? Because I watch Rise of the Lycans anytime it comes on tv, and I could care less about the other Underworld movies.

I have never actually seen Rise of the Lycans, but Michael Sheen as Lucian was pretty much the best thing in Underworld and roughly 90% of the reason I rewatched that movie.

He was also pretty much the hottest thing in that movie, but then his voice just does things to me.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-25 12:58 am (UTC)(link)
You should totally watch it. He features in that one. He and Bill Nighy pretty much own the movie.

Agreed re: his hotness and that voice. He was the best thing about the first Underworld movie and I HATED the fact that he died.

If you've got Showtime, you are in luck

He's in a new show, premiering September 29. It's called Masters of Sex - it tells the story of Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson, who pioneered research into the nature of human sexual response and the diagnosis and treatment of sexual disorders and dysfunctions, starting in 1957. He plays Masters and the show has all kinds of critical buzz.

Michael Sheen is amazing and Lucian has always been my favourite character from the Underworld movies. Rise of the Lycans is still only my second favourite in the series though (the first movie will always be my fave).
