i agree. i used to watch the LLS all the time and he seems like the nicest guy, and i don't think he'd ever say anything genuinely hurtful or offensive intentionally. i was just commenting that that was one of the few things that i've seen happen on the show that irked me.

The worst I really recall was Mayim Bialick was not offended, but uncomfortable because he kept talking about her sexy sleeves (she adheres to Orthodox Judaism rules of modesty, and sometimes gets clothes altered to have sheer, elbow length sleeves added; on top of that, the general principle of a man to whom you are not married making comments about you being 'sexy' would be frowned upon -- and she gets some really crazy Orthodox people tweeting/leaving comments when they think she's shown too much clavicle, and should be kicked out of Orthodox temples). I think that was more an issue of him just not realizing how it was making her uncomfortable, not him being deliberately mean.
