He was also wonderful as Cobra Commander (though he would be totally wrong for the original comic book version), acting all suave one moment and off the rails the next. I think being a Joe fan a bit more than I am a TF fan my perception of Sunbow-verse Cobra Commander impacts my perception of Sunbow-verse Starscream.

I enjoy Starscream as a chracter in all his incarnations, but I do agree with Op, Soundwave/Megatron is just so sweet.

Not sure about Shockwave though, in many incarnations he's to dedicated to logic and even hoisted Megatron from the leadership job in the Marvel comics for being too emotional and unstable.

Heeee oh yes I loved him as CC!
Soundwave/Megatron is definitely my OTP as Starscream/Skyfire is.
Starscream/Megatron just screams abusive relationship to me.
