So I'm scrolling through Teen Wolf fic on AO3 and I come across a video, posted like it's a fanvid, of this person telling people what she thinks should be in Sterek fics. Like actual Dos and Don'ts. These are apparently based on her preferences and what she looks for as a reader but everyone should be writing them this way. I think. I couldn't make myself actually watch it.

I saw that but never clicked the link. Someone should take one for the team and report back if it's really as awful as it sounds.

Ugh. Entitled assholes. I saw a post on tumblr with rules on how to reblog things. Like "Don't add comments to say 'I love this!'" And, "Don't add comments not in English." Seriously, you gonna tell me how fucking post shit on my fucking blog??? If you don't like my fucking comment, reblog from the person before me, dick.

This is why I'm so paranoid and unsure on Tumblr! There are so many stupid "rules" of what you should or shouldn't do, I never know if I'm insulting people or what I'm supposed to do. And I know I should say fuck it and do what I want, but my brain doesn't work that way. It pisses me off that it doesn't.

Nah. There's really no "doing it wrong" on Tumblr, I promise. I mean, unless you are just a shitty, purposefully inconsiderate dickbag. But you probably aren't like that. Just don't be an asshole and you should be cool. Those "rules" are just for controlling assholes who like to make things less fun for others.
