Re: Bad Classroom Teacher
(Anonymous) 2013-09-26 12:24 am (UTC)(link)Also, if you feel so useless, is there no advisor or mentor you can talk to for guidance? Surely you didn't get tossed into a school with nobody but Fandom Secrets for help.

(Anonymous) 2013-09-26 12:35 am (UTC)(link)I have no free time during school and all the students leave as soon as the bell rings to ride buses home.
I might email an old professor to ask her what to do. As it is, I don't want to rock the boat with administration because I just got the job 2 weeks ago and really need the income. Also, if I do go to them and they do nothing, I'll have to work with this teacher for the rest of the school year.
Re: op
(Anonymous) 2013-09-26 12:51 am (UTC)(link)Definitely email the old professor for advice on handling the class, but the long and short of it is to be a good teacher's aid, you have to make the time (paid or unpaid) and find an appropriate way to address concerns with the appropriate people, whether that's the teacher in question or the administration.
