I...kind of agree? I think she has a lot of things about her that are potentially interesting, but she's a very underdeveloped character. To a lesser extent, I feel the same way about Bolin (hell, the dude got more character development in the ten minutes that Republic City Hustle had total than he has in half of season 1 and the two episodes of season 2)

This. My interest in Asami is less "She's interesting as is!" and more "She could be an awesome character if given a chance!" Which she just...hasn't been given one yet.
