What happened to them, I haven't seen them the last couple days. Did they call it quits?

They posted something late yesterday.

Essentially, too busy with real life, don't have time for it anymore, fond farewells.

DA

oh dear, well good to hear they're okay but I'm going to miss those transcripts! I did wonder if they took a lot of time.

And there was much rejoicing.

Transcripts need to be right below the secret in question if they are to do any good. That means the submitter needs to be the one to do it.

I didn't need the transcripts, but I wouldn't say that meant they didn't do any good. On the contrary, a lot of people seemed to appreciate the work (although I think it must have been awfully time-consuming and don't blame them for bowing out).

Speak for yourself. I found them really useful, since trying to read F!S on a phone can be a pain if the images don't load. Thanks for all your work, transcription anon, if you are reading this.

Look, I hated the idea of the transcripts because of why they came about but those transcripts did a lot of good no matter where they were posted in the threads. You didn't have to read them and you don't need to be a dick about "much rejoicing" when the truth is people have been asking about transcript anon all week. People miss the transcripts and people like transcript anon and want to know that they're ok.

Um, it really isn't that hard to ctlr+f the secret number to find the transcript in the comments. Plus, the the link to the secret will be at the top of the thread for anyone needing to get a refresher. You might have found them annoying, but a lot of people appreciated them.

That makes one of us! I found the transcripts tremendously helpful, especially for secrets with small text.

Speak for yourself. I don't technically need them, but in most posts there was at least one secret which I just skipped down to read the transcript for, either because of small, tl;dr font or because the secret had awful contrasting.

There were also two secrets which I couldn't decipher and needed the transcripts to understand what was going on, so yes, they did some good.

No, fuck off. Transcriptanon was very useful and appreciated. The transcripts were useful no matter where they were located in the thread

Joining in on the 'speak for yourself' chorus. When I had no idea what the fandom was, their notes were really useful.
