There wasn't any surprises with Unalaq. But I find it really sad and amusing that Kya and Bumi weren't that much older than Tenzin. It really drives home how crappy Aang was as a father. I know the fandom is not taking it well.

I'm glad they got rid of the Eska/Bolin thing. The choker betrothal necklace was pretty uncomfortable to watch.

That whole..."relationship" with Bolin was creepy. I also took it as a throwaway moment like the palm-reader girl with aang, but this was 10x creepy and idk man I'm not enjoying it yet.

I want a spin-off with just the Air Family / Cloudbabies. Plus Katara, naturally. I can sort of see both sides of the arguments between Tenzin and his siblings, I loved the adorable Bumi-Kya moment at Aang's statue, and oh gosh Tenzin having a tea party with Ikki and a bunch of baby sky bisons! Can we just have like... family dynamics, working out being the descendents of the Avatar and the pressure of being the last Airbenders, the pressure of NOT being amongst the last Airbenders, and maybe focus on whatever happened with Jinora and the statue earlier on?

Because seriously, that's shaping up to be a far more compelling show.
