Is that what this is about? You're upset that the show isn't for you?

I think you'll find that most shows these days, even those targeted specifically at the very young, are also intended to be enjoyed by the adults watching with them. Why else would Sesame Street have a Mad Men parody in it?

The show is for me. I'm not a grown man sexualizing children.

There is the "Enjoyed by adults" which is what I do, and then there is the corrupted and soiled by adult males which is what Bronies do.

Not all of the male fans do, though. And I'm well aware of the porn/that guy who "married" a Twilight Sparkle plush and has sex with it, etc.

Very true. That's why I'm talking about the bronies. I'm sure there are non-bronie male fans, but I really am just talking about bronies.

No, the "enjoyed by adults" is exactly what bronies do.

Maybe you've specifically defined "brony" as "one who sexualizes MLP characters," but that is not the generally accepted definition. The generally accepted definition is "an adult, usually male, who likes MLP: Friendship is Magic." Whether women can be bronies appears to be an argument that still exists, and there is definitely a brony subculture with its own OCs and a bizarre worship of a cross eyed Pegasus who is usually portrayed in the most ableist manner possible, and some people (like myself) believe that belonging to that subculture is an inherent part of the definition, but sexualizing the ponies is not required and I know plenty of people who are bronies to the extent that they participate in that subculture and yet do not sexualize the ponies.
