(Anonymous) 2013-09-28 10:22 am (UTC)(link)a) Hitting on somebody is not exactly the sort of thing that warrants a knife to the face
b) If you don't know how to use it properly, knives are more of a hindrance than help in a lot of cases.
c) Threatening people with any weapon that isn't a gun is more likely to escalate the situation and prompting the other person to use violence when, under normal circumstances, they wouldn't.
