mike krahulik can be an ass, but to accuse the tithe of being misogynistic media is so far off base it's not even in the same city.

well I don't know about the tithe in particular, but I know about penny arcade. That is misogynistic and the creators are openly misogynistic, so I'm afraid I won't be giving them the benefit of the doubt.

One of the authors has also openly said a number of transphobic things. The rape joke with the dick wolves was disgusting enough, but he's gone on and on about various offensive matters and stood by the stance that he shouldn't apologize.

He also said he regretted pulling the rape joke after the backlash in a conference.

YES, I've been LOVING this. But a lot of my friends avoid Penny Arcade for very good reasons so it's hard to find some one to talk about it with.

I dunno, it disappointed me because it seems like there's a really great story behind all the jumping around from random scene to random scene, but we're not gonna get to see it. I do really like the horned...forest spirit...thing, though.

I know this is one of those "you should be able to enjoy things even from problematic sources" things, but I'm honestly just...so disgusted with PA that it's tainted every other project they're working on. :(

that story's okay, but honestly, my big problem with penny arcade is that they haven't been funny in ages. It's like they're not even trying anymore. There's like 1 game comic to every 10 "ha ha, look at us hang out and be wacky!"
