Japanese feminists do critique manga and anime, there's quite a bit of critical writing on some of the older shoujo titles.

Just because something isn't happening on tumblr doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Yeah their "critique" is calling anyone who disagrees with a cis-scum racist misogynist. I'm glad the fandom doesn't bother with them.
