I don't know if I like the term feminist for myself, but personally, there are things in TV and movies that I find offensive to myself as a woman, and I get really fed up: because I was raised to believe this was normal and I was strange for feeling uncomfortable with Girl of the Week or female characters only being allowed there for Tits and Ass. Basically, I get fed up with men being People and women being Objects.

But, I don't play video games right now and I don't watch anime right now: those things don't bother me because I don't feel they're shoved in my face. I know they exist, but I can get through life without hearing about or seeing them over much. I can focus on the things that don't make me feel degraded.

I used to like anime a lot and I didn't always analyze it, and I used to like some video games, and didn't really analyse them either. I just sort of grew out of them, maybe? Anyway, until I stop watching movies and TV, yes, I will be bothered by egregious sexism and stuff like that. I don't go all angry war cry about it, but yes, it bothers me. :)
