I admit, I'm kind of wondering what it is you seem to enjoy so passionately about shallowly-characterized, dead, or entirely absent female characters.

Well, there are several shows that I enjoy a lot that are entirely without female characters. If they're just going to suck, why would I want them there? The in-between stage from "no characters" to "good characters" is worse than just "no characters."

Shallowly-characterized is in the eye of the beholder and I do not find the characters I love shallowly-characterized at all.
I don't know where you're coming from with the dead part.
I have no problems with the absence of female characters from a story. I have no problems with their presence either, proved they're not just shoehorned in, but I'm still sorry that you can only enjoy a story if it's got vaginas in it.
Are you from /u/? You sound like you're from /u/.
