We met on lj - she posted fic she had written for my otp, I read it, loved it, and comment flailed at her. She was incredibly friendly in her reply, and from there, we got to know each other. We friended we other on lj and follow each other on tumblr and talked constantly through e-mail and aim.

Aside from sharing an otp, I found that she's an incredibly talented musician, artist, writer, and one of the most empathetic, giving people I've known. Honestly, I'm incredibly fortunate to know her and to have her in my life, and I remind her of this often.

After a year of being friends (now heading into year two), I flew down to Florida and stayed with her for a week. We crammed so much into those seven days that it would take too many paragraphs to list it all (even though I am tempted to).

She and I talk every single day and nothing's complete or right if we don't hear from each other. I'm going back to see her next May/June and we are so incredibly excited! She's just the best and kffghng.
