(Anonymous) 2013-09-29 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)1. Writing tiny little fics that have to be exactly 100 words, forcing you to fight for every single word you decide to include.
2. Writing tiny little fics of relatively small word count, allowing you to spit out small ideas into small spaces without pinning down the exact word count.
Things to which I'm indifferent:
1. The way the interpretation of "drabble" has broadened, because I discovered it when it had already broadened and I didn't know the difference. However, I get why it ticks off folk, because I've got my own word peeves. Try not to be on the receiving end of one of my rants about how people use "enormity" wrong.
Things I don't like:
1. When vents about how the definition of "drabble" has broadened turn into snarks over whether short fics have merit. Giddafuckout.
