(Anonymous) 2013-09-29 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)I totally understand b) because I loved the original stories, but I'm still pretty sure I would dislike someone with his personality. Probably because his personality is only justifiable with his genius. I think I mainly have a problem with arrogance, ha. 'People say "I identify with Holmes/Sherlock" and mean "I'm an insufferable dick who thinks he's cleverer than everyone else"' this hits the nail on the head exactly on why I don't like (most) people who say they 'identify' with Sherlock, thank you!
