I met my best fandom friend while playing mafia on LJ. We talked, and friended each other, but weren't particularly close then. But we kept playing mafia games and talked to each other in other contexts and discovered that we had a lot in common.

I love that we have a lot in common. She will listen to things I have to say, and she has introduced me to things I've enjoyed. I also love that she is there and supportive of me. I can run problems by her to get her opinion or just vent to her. I can honestly say that I don't know what i'd do without her in my life right now.
