Or, you know, words can have more than one meaning.

The word 'set' has a lot of different meanings, some that are quite similar, but not the same, and some that are very different. Why can't drabble have more than one meaning? And why, oh why, does this argument keep coming up? Some people vehemently agree with you. A lot of other people don't think there is anything to get vehement about. Write it your way and find drabble communities that define it your way, if it’s that important to you. I don’t think getting unreasonably upset with how others choose to label their stories is the way to go.

Oh, that's so good to hear! Now I can start calling all of my short peoms haiku. Haiku sounds way cooler :)

Technically haiku has already changed a lot. There used to be strict rules as to the topics and words used, an approved nature theme had to be included, it had to be in Japanese, etc.

And then it got changed to just be any poem with the 5, 7 and 5 pattern.

HUH! Kind of like drabble? It started as 100+. then 100 exactly, and now 100-500ish!
