I have so many nicknames, it's ridiculous. Actually, my "name", the one that most people know me by, isn't my name at all and most people aren't even aware that it's not my name. And on top of that I have a ton of nicknames. I mean, my original name is important - hell, my dad fought the social security department for my name - but it's not what I go by.

I'm still confused as to how I ended up on there.

So... you are the comedic sidekick in a serious piece of story-telling is what you're saying. You have a special background but don't bring it up often because, again, comedic sidekick. Hmmm, wait, you might be the hero too. Depends really.

I'm assuming magic since no one can figure out why all these specific people are grouped together.

It's less that I don't bring it up because I'm a comedic sidekick and more that I don't bring it up because if I do, audiences complain about bad writing. :P Also, I think I'm a cross between comedic sidekick and deadpan snarker. Maybe a comedic foil or something? Who knows.

Comedic foil who could have been hero but by a stroke of strange luck, wasn't.

I'm not sure if that stroke of luck was good luck or bad luck. *shrugs*

Though I think I could be a hero. Certainly a lot of my friendships involve me doing something insane, bold, or just plain stupid, with my closest friend at the time playing the long suffering foil... :P

Depends if the hero ends up dead in the end.

I mostly meant you being a wizard, though that's mostly because it's the more common/universal equivalent to a genie. Aka icon joke. :)

I have reading problems.

I wish I could say I was the wizard but wizards are smart and have wisdom. I have established multiple times today and yesterday this is something I lack.

Hmmm, maybe just a magical three year old. Stupid but genie-like.

Does that make you a Fae? Because of the flower?

I am that random fairy who flits around irritating all the humans and only ever does something heroic by accident, or turning out to be some kind of witch in disguise or something. :P

And maybe you're the wizard's apprentice? Everyone has to start somewhere. You'll be the wizard/witch in training! ^_^

My only conclusion for why I'm there is that I have become insufferable enough to be remembered when the OP was thinking about regular commenters.

No, the "insufferable" thing only applies to me because someone called me that a few posts ago. I know I can harp on a few subjects repeatedly, including my opinion on incest, Dwarves, and a certain fanfic I'm fond of.

Either way, I'm just wondering what the connection between everyone is.

Well my pet theory is we're all frequent commenters, and all are signed in enough to have icons that the OP could copy onto the secret.
