I enjoyed 'The Other Boleyn Girl' book, but it was fiction, not history. The film was just yet another re-tread of Anne and Henry and was even more historically inaccurate than the book.

I didn't even realize I still had feelings about it until just now, but The Other Boleyn Girl movie made me so angry. The whole point of the book was that the focus wasn't Anne. Ugh.

Yes! Geeze! I was looking forward to seeing the film (despite the inaccuracies) but it was a total let down.

The earlier BBC adaptation is more faithful to the book. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0357392/

I liked the book a lot, but the movie changed and cut too much - I understand pacing and all, but the things they did focus on didn't seem relevant. :( Seemed all in all very watered down.
