You're not really best friends with someone if you call them a manipulative cow. You need to own up to how you really feel and tell this person you don't really view them as a friend anymore, because hiding how you really feel while pretending to be best buds is just as manipulative and malicious. It might be a more passive form, but it's a frienemy approach nonetheless.
