On an unrelated note, I...well, in a very general sense, I also agree that this shouldn't be a secret and almost want to wonder why it would be. Almost, because then I remember some of my own recent experiences on Tumblr and talking to fellow fans, and yeah, I can see why this isn't something you would want to admit, depending on what fandom(s) you're in.

But either way, don't feel bad and don't make yourself participate in fandom when you don't want to. :)
