That's almost all of what I see too. But I did see one really weird post about how the creator of WTNV said Lovecraft was overrated and a racist (an opinion I can't really disagree with) so therefore (according to the tumblr person) drawing Cecil as a "blond and Aryan" who is "culturally appropriating the idea of a third eye," was going against the creator's wishes. I... don't even know what to say about that so I try to stay the fuck out of the tags. I didn't even know about the T-shirt mess so I guess I'm lucky.

You know, it's actually kind of hilarious that people think any interpretation of what a character looks like is "against the creator's wishes."

I mean, it's right there in the FAQ. I'll even C&P it for you guys:

WHAT DOES THE CHARACTER CECIL [OR KEVIN OR OLD WOMAN JOSIE OR _____] LOOK LIKE?

What do YOU think they look like?

The only canon is that it's a goddamn radio show and y'alls are fully capable of using your imaginations.

Bwhuh? He's not even culturaly appropriating the idea of a third eye. Some idiot decided it would be neat if he had one and drew a third eye on him. And then a lot of people jumped into the bandwagon.
