Can't tell if this secret is a parody or not...

You can't have "good intuition" about people you don't actually know.

As for Whitman and Wilde, it is very unlikely anything sexual happened between them because they were not exactly each other's types. Meeting each other was amazing because it was a rare few hours of honest conversation for both of them. But, I don't know them and they are too dead to ask.

It is very, very, very unlikely, as anyone who has read the book the blogger cites for "evidence" would know. The Secret Life of Oscar Wilde goes into quite a bit of detail about Wilde's sex life. Wilde's first physical relationship was with Robbie Ross in 1886 (I think, definitely after the America trip), Ross was 17 at the time and determined to seduce Wilde.

I don't think Robbie Ross is absolutely confirmed to be Wilde's first male lover (different biographies have suggested that he may have started as early as college iirc) but yeah, he had a definite type with regards to men and Walt Whitman was not it. The article is pretty funny and the quote about them kissing is well-documented, but it probably didn't go further than that.
