Lynx's!
- There are four species of large cat that go by the name "lynx"; the Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx), the Canadian lynx (Lynx canadensis), the Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus), and the Bobcat (Lynx rufus).
- The Iberian lynx is considered critically endangered, however the rest are least concern.
- The Eurasian lynx is the largest, with lengths from 80 to 130 cm (31 to 51 in) a heights of about 70 cm (28 in) at the shoulder. They can weigh between 40 and 66 lb. On average, the bobcat is the smallest of the four lynx species.
- Canadian lynx's feed mostly on snowshoe hares, so the size of the lynx population tends to match the size of the hare population.
- Lynx's to not have very good stamina.
- Eurasian lynx can make a large range of noises, however they tend to be silent outside of the breeding season. They've been heard mewing, hissing, growling, and purring.
