RPF writers wouldn't use language like this. Tin-hatting these two (as OP makes clear they do) requires believing some really terrible things about them and their families even if you're not harassing their wives. That's at least what I was reacting to.

Yeah, I see a real harm in promulgating conspiracy theories about celebrities for the purpose of building an audience for masturbatory stroke materials. Outing people is the muckraker's hand grenade, which makes it extremely important to be clear exactly who you're throwing it at, and why you're pulling the pin.
