I remember when this happened with Chuck Palahniuk for me... I was so in love with his work after the first book, and then I binged on his stuff and after each additional book I started recognizing his patterns and he just got irritating :\
the moral of this story: everything in moderation

I can't do that dude. I expected to like Fight Club but I couldn't stand it. I am Joe's wandering attention. I am Joe's annoyance at overblown blue collar machismo.

Hahahaha. That's why I only reread Dan Brown's stuff every once in a while and wait for years for his next book. Cause he's formulaic as hell. But it's still a fun cheesy read.
