In any case, yeah. That was a fandom that came out of nowhere, and -as I suspected- pretty much faded a year or so later. It was... interesting to watch from the sidelines, to say the least.

It's Splinter from the Nickelodeon version of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...which I just marathoned and am now in love with, so I recommend.

Speaking as someone who used to be in the Once-ler fandom, I left because of the tons and tons of AUs and too many people were completely missing the point of the movie/book.

you'd think the movie was actually called 'the once-ler' and not 'the lorax'
