ayrt

A friend of a friend once literally shoved his novel into my hands within two minutes of meeting him.

Oh god, it was the most amazingly bad thing I've ever read. Like, it was literally incomprehensible. I read it all the way through, and I still have no clue what it was about, except that there were robots in it.

That made me laugh. Sorry.

A co-worker of my husband gave him her book for me to read when he mentioned that I both write and edit for others. She 'wanted an honest opinion' of her self published book.

It was hard back with a MSRP of $25.

I couldn't get through the first chapter due to all of the basic grammatical and spelling errors. Forget the lame premise. It took me a week to figure out how to let her down without causing him problems at work.
