I mean, it's fanfiction based on someone else's work in the first place, there aren't exactly rules on it. Jacking lines from another work isn't creative but I can't get all heated up over it's immorality. To me it's a lot like bad song fic. People just copy and paste a whole song and then write a couple of lines about the characters feelings in between.
If none of the plagiarized lines ended up in the published stuff, i'm not seeing the big deal.

As a writer, the big deal is someone else using your words and claiming them as her own by her incredibly vague disclaimers, and getting credit for them. That's lazy, and it's the antithesis of being a writer. She's a cheater who wanted the feedback and shit without putting the effort into it.

I don't hate her because I don't know her personally but as an author with a published book under her belt, it's not something I'm just gonna give a pass on.
