I need something to zap me anytime I think of going there on Tumblr.

Just when you think it was safe to go back in the water, people stalk 2 yr old tweets from the creator to support their opinions.

The first time I visited the Night Vale tag I saw people yelling about what a rapist (RL) Cecil Baldwin is and how he should be fired. I was so fucking confused, and never saw any explanation. I slowly backed out of the tag.

Then I went back and only saw fanart, raving, people's head-canons, lots of Night Vale inspired tumblr accounts, and various cosplayers. And I've seen no wank since.

I don't visit it all that often either though, so IDK how often this shit happens; it sounds horrifying.

...Any suggestions for people to follow, btw?

Um, I know sootyowl, greenvelvetcake, and kaijinscendre all post Night Vale art sometimes. (I would suggest myself but you already follow me.)

Most good artists are also into the whole wank side of it as well so it's best not to follow most actual artists. Though... one artist I've only seen happy things from is kurzz. I don't know if you'll like their art style though.

Ooo, thank you so much! And I'm ashamed to admit this, but I actually didn't realize that was you! I suspected after the asks but wasn't 100% sure. Also I kind of thought I'd followed that account forever ago and don't know why... This is becoming a habit, now.

Welcome. Huh? It's fine. No one generally knows it's me. I try to keep the accounts separate. (Though that hasn't been working out exactly as planned.) And you don't have to apologize or not following me. ?_? I- I mean, you didn't know who I was and I could have had content you don't like and I don't have that many followers to begin with. I have 28. Seriously, I'm not in it for the popularity contest. So yeah, it's all good. (I mean, I don't follow Noodly, not because I don't like him, but because he posts nsfw stuff on the rare occasion. So I completely understand there being people you like but you don't follow.)

So really, please, please don't worry about it.

Ah, see I wasn't sure if you'd ever linked to your tumblr directly, though I know you've linked to NV art and the like. I completely understand not wanting to connect your accounts too! And I love your taste thus far, and honestly don't think I've seen anything on your blog that I didn't like, so I did have a genuine interest! I know it isn't a big deal and don't mind if people don't follow me back either but you have good taste so I'm glad I did.

And I have people I don't follow but like too, because they post a lot of certain things I'm not into but can't block because of my using the phone app, so I get ya.

If it isn't too much trouble? I was just going to search their names and see if anything came up, but hadn't got around to it yet. I follow some fs people over there, and some follow me, and tbh I don't know who half of them are because of the name changes, heh. Which is alright! But confusing.

It's never safe. Never safe.

What I do is scroll until I see a picture that is art. I stop, look at it to see if I want to reblog, reblog or not, and move on. I scroll too fast to read anything and that's the way I like it. If it has text don't bother reading it unless it's on your dash and from a trusted person you follow.

Otherwise, yeah, you're gonna have a bad time.
