When people started complaining about Skye not being witty, I basically went "...isn't that the point? She's trying to be witty and kind of just...isn't? A lot of people are just like that, everyone tries to be witty but not everyone succeeds" and my attitude towards the show just grew from there.

yeah! like, in the first episode, how she is trying to be all sly and subtle at the diner with the super-strong guy but she is actually being very conspicuous and fangirly and embarrasses/weirds-out the guy
