She over sings nearly everything, and has destroyed many a song in that way throughout the entire show's run.

Seriously, her vocal coach shouldn't let her stop running scales until she learns to a lighter touch.

Isn't that what happens to every single song in Glee, though?

Pretty much.

I don't mind it just because it probably stuck in the craw of those crazy, creepy Groffchelle people.

I just want Glee singing the Beatles songs to end.

I like the Beatles, but I don't like them enough to have multiple eps featuring only their songs.

It looks like Rachel is singing that about her audition because Rachel is singing it about her audition, right? I agree that it wasn't great, but that sentence implied it had another meaning in series, and I didn't think it did.

Covering that song is thankless. The original is just too iconic IMHO.

She could do a lighter touch, as seen when she did Spring Awakening. But since she did Glee, everything she does is oversung. And it's annoying as anything, to say the least.

I suspect her lighter touch in SA had to do with her being younger at the time. She's at a stage in her life during which the voice matures and grows steadily. And somehow I think she's gotten "more vocal power" mixed up with "better singing".

Everything she sings is fucking horrible. I've skipped every part of the series with her in it since season 2 and there's proved to be no great loss.

I love the Beatles but there are so many horrible covers of their songs. The I Am Sam soundtrack was the worst though.
