I'm just thinking about how boring it would be if your favorite show is something really mundane and dumb. At least if you die as a red shirt in TOS you can say " Fuck, yes. I'm a red shir-ack!" The way the OP sounds, it seems like they'd want the superpower as a sort of punishment for people who can't shut up about fictional universes that are actually scary and dangerous.

Doesn't worth it waste your power on a guy who's going to a world pretty much like our own. BUT, what if it's actually the worst thing? Like that episode of the Twilight were this dude thinks he's in heaven because he wins at everything and gets all the ladies, but it's so boring winning all the time and it turns out he's actually in hell.
